High-Performance Formulation for Direct-Injected (DI) and Port-Fuel-Injected Gasoline Engines
Controlling fuel system and combustion chamber deposits is critical to maintaining efficiency and performance in fuel-injected engines. Deposits can quickly lead to reduced fuel economy, lost power, poor drivability (surging, hesitation, stalling, rough idle), engine knocking or pinging, and difficult starts. The fuel injectors in DI engines are especially prone to deposits. Their placement inside the combustion chamber increases fuel efficiency and power, but exposes the injectors to intense heat and combustion gases. In this hostile environment, difficult-to-remove deposits can quickly form on the injectors, distorting the spray pattern enough to reduce fuel efficiency and power
Designed to Provide Excellent Deposit Clean-Up
AMSOIL Gasoline Additive (AGA) is formulated with potent synthetic detergent additives that provide excellent deposit clean-up and keep-clean performance in directinjected and port-fuel-injected vehicles. In vehicles with accumulated deposits, its high-performance formulation cleans fuel injectors, intake valves and combustion chambers to help maximize fuel economy and improve drivability. It also helps reduce carbon rap and engine pinging or knock, reducing the need for higher octane fuel.
Formulated to Maintain Engine Efficiency & Performance
AMSOIL Gasoline Additive is designed to maintain peak engine efficiency and performance through continuous use. It is conveniently packaged in a single-dose bottle, eliminating the need to measure out product and store previously opened containers. Added to every tankful of gasoline, it helps keep injectors, intake valves and combustion chambers clean for optimum performance. It provides corrosion protection for critical internal parts and can help reduce maintenance.
Applications
AMSOIL Gasoline Additive provides excellent performance in gasoline-powered passenger cars and light trucks. For initial clean up, add two 8-oz. bottles prior to filling the tank. To maintain cleanliness, add one 8-oz. bottle prior to each fill. When adding more than 18 gallons of fuel, add two bottles.
